Droid phone, a new face on the block of mobile phones, and a potential iphone killer, is set to be launched the ending of October this year – yeah, this month! In case you don’t know much about droid phone, it’s a cool, Smartphone worked on by combined efforts of the  duo, Verizon and Motorola. Droid phone looks very much like an iphone, but then it’s packed with killer features that would leave you contemplating a bank robbery just to pocket one.

Here’s a rundown of some of the specification features of the droid phone.

Specification details of droid phone:

  • Runs on V 2.0 of Android OS
  • Super slim – slimmer than the iphone 3GS
  • Runs on TI OMAP3430 CPU, making it very fast
  • Has a slide out keyboard
  • Spots a 5 megapixels camera with flash
  • Has a 3.7-inches (480×854 pixels; WVGA+) high resolution touch screen
  • It has speech recognition capabilities
  • Comes with a free 16GB microSD card in the pack, and supports higher capacities
  • Powered by a 1400 mAh battery
  • It has a built-in GPS receiver
  • It’s expected to have 256MB RAM.

There’s a debate that the droid phone is locked to Verizon network, but I’m of the opinion that it’s not. Don’t you think the droid phone is simply a bomb? I think she is, and an iphone 3GS assassin if you ask me. Motorola, I’m just another guy who badly needs a droid phone!!
